I think Apple is so wrapped up in their image creation machine that the embarrassment of having hyped and sold a defective device requiring a recall is something they don't want to consider. This isn't some defective battery they can blame on a Chinese factory. They really failed here. It's very uncool. I've also read they posted 3 job openings for antenna engineers yesterday. The ego, by its very nature, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if you really delve into it.

Definitely. It allows you to network with other writers. There’s a large writing community on LiveJournal, and it’s both fun and useful to share ideas with them there.
